The Publisher states and the Author acknowledges that the Author’s data is processed by BORGIS sp. z o.o. [limited liability company], ul. Ekologiczna 8/103, 02-798 Warsaw, email: wydawnictwo@borgis.pl for the purposes necessary for the performance of the civil law contract (legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) of EP and EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)).

In certain situations, the Publisher has the right to transfer the Author’s data if necessary to perform its services. The Publisher will only transfer data to three groups: persons authorised by the Publisher, the Publisher’s own employees and associates who need to have access to the data to perform their duties, processors contracted by the publisher, and other data recipients, e.g. couriers, banks, insurers, law firms, and other cooperating entities. The personal data of the Author will be stored by the Publisher for the period established by generally applicable regulations. At any time, the Author can access their personal data, rectify it, copy it, limit the processing, and object to the processing or have it transferred. At any time, the Author may lodge a complaint against the Publisher’s processing of their personal data with the Head of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw). The personal data provided by the Author is a condition for the conclusion of a civil law contract.
